How to Sync Google Contacts With Android: 5 Steps (with Pictures)

The contacts you use in Google Gmail are stored in such a way so as to make it easy to add to your Android phone. You can do this with built-in controls on your smart phone.
STEPS

HIT THE MENU BUTTON ON YOUR PHONE AND SELECT "SYSTEM SETTINGS."

CLICK "ACCOUNTS & SYNC" IN THE SETTINGS MENU.

CLICK ON THE "G" SYMBOL FOR GOOGLE IN THE SYNC SCREEN ONCE IT APPEARS.

CHECK THE BOX MARKED "SYNC CONTACTS." It will tell you the last time your contacts were synced to your phone underneath.

HIT THE MENU BUTTON AND CLICK "SYNC NOW" TO ADD AND SYNC YOUR CONTACTS TO YOUR PHONE.
TIPS
It's a good idea to let the phone periodically sync in order to make sure it's always up to date.
